Nature of Services
The Clearing provides personal and family coaching services. Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or licensed mental health services. Stephen Ertel is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychologist, or medical provider. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

Confidentiality
Information shared during sessions is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law, or where there is a genuine risk of harm to yourself or others. This is not a legally privileged relationship in the way licensed therapy or medical care is.

 

Payment
Fees for services are listed on the Services page and are due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of Liability
The Clearing and Stephen Ertel are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in coaching services. Services are provided in good faith, with no guarantee of specific outcomes.
